| Executive Team Bios
Chief Executive Officer — Doug McNary is the executive in
charge of Cardservice International and TASQ technologies.
McNary joined Cardservice International in the spring of 2002 soon after the
acquisition of Cardservice by First Data Corporation. Most recently, McNary has
lead the Strategic Business Development group of First Data Corporation, which
focused on mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, new
products, product enhancements and other revenue-building models.
Prior to October 2000, McNary was president of Western Union North America. He
was responsible for all sales, agent management, marketing, customer service
and business development functions for Western Union's consumer money transfer,
money order and electronic benefits transfer (EBT) in the United States, Mexico
and Canada.
From 1991 to 1995, McNary served as senior vice president and general manager of
Integrated Payment Systems Retail Services, which managed American Express®
Money Orders, MoneyGram®, worldwide money wiring service and Utility Remittance
Services, a walk-in utility bill payment service.
Beginning in 1989, McNary served as senior vice president and general manager of
Integrated Payment Systems Financial Services, which managed the Official Check
Services and Cash Management Services of First Data.
McNary joined First Data in 1985 as a district sales manager with the company's
First Data Resources business unit in Omaha, Nebraska. He joined Integrated
Payment Systems in 1986 as a regional sales manager and then became national
sales manager. Prior to joining First Data, he worked for Xerox Corporation in
Omaha.
McNary earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems from Iowa
State University and completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management
Program for International Senior Managers in 1995.
President — Don Headlund leads all aspects of the company's
finance, technology and operations activities.
Headlund joined Cardservice International in July 1991 as an internal management
consultant. Within a few months, he was appointed chief financial officer, a
position Headlund held until May 2000, when he was named president of the
company.
Prior to joining Cardservice International, Headlund served as president, CEO
and director of Malibu Savings Bank from 1988 until 1991. Before joining Malibu
Savings Bank, Headlund was president, CEO and director of Valley Federal
Savings and Loan Association for 20 years.
From 1988 to 1997, Headlund and his wife, Peggy, owned their own business — the
Pacific Training and Development Company, a successful consulting firm that
provided technical and financial services for financial institutions.
Headlund is a former captain in the United States Air Force. He received a
bachelor of arts degree in finance from Occidental College in Los Angeles,
California. A physical fitness enthusiast and father of two grown sons,
Headlund enjoys snow skiing, tennis and golf. The California native and his
wife currently reside in Southern California.
Senior Vice President of Sales — John Barrett joined Cardservice
International in June of 2004 after spending 17 years in the
telecommunications industry and nine years with Xerox Corporation.
Barrett leads all sales
and agent relationship, sales service, training and partner service activities
for the company. Prior to joining Cardservice, Barrett held various sales and
executive management positions at MCI Corporation. He was responsible for
regional direct sales and indirect channel sales as well as field service and
operations during his 16 years with the company. Prior to MCI, Barrett spent nine
years with Xerox Corporation in sales and branch management. Barrett earned his
bachelor of science degree in business administration and an MBA in
marketing/finance at the University of Southern California.
